Dr. Aditi Tandon

Dr. Aditi Tandon is a well renowned Gynae Endoscopy surgeon and a Fertility specialist in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. She received her MBBS from K.J. Somaiya Medical college, Mumbai and Post graduation MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Rural Medical College, Loni, Maharashtra.
She is the chief consultant at Dr. Sudha Tandon’s IVF, Endoscopy and Maternity centre located in Chembur, Mumbai and Vashi, Navi Mumbai. She is also attached to DY Patil hospital, Surya Hospitals and Apollo Hospital. She takes a keen interest in academics and loves imparting knowledge to her students. She has an experience of 6 years in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In her quest to learn IVF, she trained extensively doing several fellowships for Assisted Reproductive Techniques. She has completed the FOGSI Basic and Advanced training in ART in 2017, following which she trained under the kind mentorship of Dr. Purnima Nadkarni who is a stalwart in IVF. In Feb 2019, she was conferred a Masters in Reproductive Medicine and IVF degree from the prestigious Homerton Fertility Centre, Homerton University, NHS Foundation Trust, London, United Kingdom. She is known for her quick and efficient decisions and is well trained in coming up with solutions for couples with fertility problems.
She is immensely passionate about Laparoscopy and has earned herself a fellowship in Advanced minimal access surgery from stalwarts of advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy surgery. In 2018, She trained under Dr. Nikita Trehan who has a Guinness world record record for removing the heaviest fibroid laparoscopically. She has also received her training in Advanced Laparoscopy Surgeries for Gynaecological Cancers, advanced Endometriosis surgery from Dr. Dipak Limbachiya in Feb 2020. She has trained for Advanced laparoscopy for Ureteric tunnel dissection with 6 vascular spaces for Radical Hysterectomy in Sept 2021. She has underwent advanced training in 2023 with the Dr. Mario Malzoni, Italy a world renounded surgeon for Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis & Cancer Surgeries.
She has a skill par excellence in performing various advanced laparoscopic procedures including removal of uterus, removal of fibroids, cysts and surgeries for endometriosis. She also has a keen interest in performing Hysteroscopic surgeries and is extensively trained for the same.
Her qualifications and training equip her to deliver the latest and proven evidence-based treatments to her patient base. Travelling and observing International doctors have given her a perspective of the international standards of care which she aims to implement in her practice.
She has several national and international publications in indexed journals and has presented several papers at national and international gynaecological conferences. She is also an author for some articles in books.
Dr. Aditi is an esteemed faculty in national and international conferences, has attended and delivered lectures at conferences keeping her abreast with the latest devepments in her field of expertise. She has been operating faculty for the MAGE, Surgical association of Chembur and Tandon Hospital conference held in Mumbai in June 2019, Guwahati 2021, Yuva IAGE Shillong 2022, ISAR 2023
She is a faculty for basic and advanced Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy training courses at the prestigious IMMAST institute and encourages young gynaecologists to pursue further training in endoscopy.
She is a medical advisor for the health start up, Arva.
She received the first ever Dr. Duru Shah Distinguished Youth
Award 2022, is the recipient of Yuva ISAR researcher of the year 2019, FOGSI Young Turk awardee 2019, Best youth council member MOGS 2019, 2020
She received the prestigious Ashok Mehra prize for Best Endoscopy paper in the national conference of MOGS 2019, 2020. Won prize for presenting at ENDO ART 2.0 june 2021, AMOGS & MOGS New vistas in Fertility 2021 aug
She has presented Internationally on Laparoscopic Vaginoplasty for MRKH with
hitching of ovaries in POD to facilitate transvaginal oocyte retrieval at AAGL annual conference - AUSTIN, NOV 2021
She is a member of various bodies like Federation of Gynaecologists Society India (FOGSI), Mumbai Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society (MOGS), Indian Association of Gynaec Endoscopists (IAGE), Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction (ISAR), Maharashtra IAGE (MAGE), Maharashtra Chapter ISAR (MSR), Indian Medical Association (IMA), Indian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (ICOG).
